MiO announces it has joined two prominent U.S. trade associations in order to strengthen support for its nationwide client base of wholesalers, retailers, and convenience stores.
April 29, 2025, Denver, CO – MiO (Mee-Oh) (www.getmio.co), which offers seamless mobile ordering integration for enterprise systems across multiple industries, is proud to announce it has been accepted to join the National Association of Wholesale Distributors (NAW), America’s preeminent trade association that represents the entire $8.2 trillion wholesale distribution industry, and the Convenience Distribution Association (CDA), the trade organization that represents more than $102 billion in U.S. convenience product sales. Joining NAW and CDA is part of MiO’s overall investment strategy to help clients create new opportunities for businesses to interact with their ordering, inventory, and sales data in real time.
“Our current and future clients are big brands, wholesalers, and manufacturers that offer a huge amount of products to reps and stores, from grocery and convenience stores to pet supplies and automotive,” said Jennifer Grenz, CEO of MiO. “The opportunities to not only further streamline the mobile ordering process, but also increase revenue opportunities are sky high. Joining NAW and CDA enables us to join executive conferences and summits, provide thought leadership, and learn from other top decision-makers in our field to help continue to build our platform in the most useful and practical way possible, for the people using the software.”
MiO, which stands for Mobile Intelligent Ordering (formerly Mobisoft), is dedicated to supporting its current client wholesalers and reaching new markets that are juggling complex ordering operations. As the leading trade association in the wholesale distribution industry, NAW provides the means for MiO to raise awareness of available mobile ordering efficiencies, educate about the simplicity of integrating even the most sophisticated data systems, and create the strategic partnerships that can help further support MiO’s client base. NAW represents more than 35,000 companies that employ over 5 million workers in nearly 150,000 places of business in all 50 United States.
“We are thrilled to officially welcome MiO to our community. NAW is excited to see how we can help this organization grow, and how MiO can help our members with its depth of expertise,” said Cameron C. Russell, Director of Strategic Partnerships, NAW.
CDA provides MiO a variety of members-only industry reports and resources that enable MiO to stay on top of industry trends and developments in the convenience store and food service industry, which in turn will strengthen its support services.
“We welcome MiO as a new member.” said Jenn Finn, Senior Director of Membership Engagement at CDA. “We look forward to their involvement as they join our network of industry members.”
MiO, formerly named Mobisoft, has developed its software to cater to the wholesale market for more than a decade. “Being a part of NAW will help us bring even more value to our legacy clients and to support additional businesses across a broad range of industries,” Grenz said.
The annual NAW SHIFT Conference takes place May 13-15, 2025, in Denver, CO. The CDA’s Convenience Distribution Marketplace takes place February 16-18, 2026, in Arlington, TX.
